Map 900 is the tutorial map.
It is possible to access the tutorial at any time by using the /tutorial chat command or typing the code in your tribe house. You can also go to the menu then click on the tutorial (shaped like a house with cheese flag).

This map has no shaman.
When you first create an account or log in as a guest, you will come across the tutorial.
A mouse will guide you through the rules, and how to play. To get out of the tutorial, grab the cheese using the arrow keys or W,A,S,D keys and then return to the hole.
You may also quit the tutorial at any time by pressing the "Quit the tutorial" button below the tutorial mouse's instructions, or by using the /nosouris chat command, which transfers you automatically to any vanilla room.
As of 22 January 2016 (V1.281), after playing the tutorial, arrows and circles will appear highlighting things such as the map's time, your player mouse, the shaman, etc. do make you, as a new player, familiar with the game's basic features.
This can be disabled by using the chat command /nosouris.
Trivia[]
- Before V1.281, the tutorial only consisted of Map 900, with a mouse being thrown into gameplay with no further instruction.
- The old version of the map, created by Tigrounette, is @630022.
- Mélo appeared as an NPC in Valentine's Day 2023.
