Coins are a type of currency that are consumables in the inventory. While shop cheese Cheese-currency and fraise Fraise-currency have a coin in their image, these are often not referred to as "coins", but instead just simply as cheese/fraise. Unlike adventure consumables, coins are not tied to a specific event and never disappear after an event.

The only coins that are tradable are cheese coins and seashells. The only coins that can be "used" and converted into shop currencies are cheese coins and fraise coins.

List of coins[]

Cheese coin[]

Cheese coins (cc) are the most versatile coin, as the may be "used" like a normal consumable to earn shop cheese, traded with other players (if they haven't been used), and can be earned multiple ways. As such, they are the primary means of exchange for consumables.

Cheese coins may be earned through adventures, completing daily quests, trading golden tickets to the Prof in village rooms (10 golden tickets for 20cc), or trading game mode coins with Papaille in village rooms (50 game mode coins for 50cc).

You cannot redeem more than 200 cheese coins per day. The redemption limit resets daily at 07:00 GMT. During double cheese and XP events and in December, the cheese coin redemption limit per day is doubled from 200 to 400. The limit was introduced on 18 August 2020 (V1.585a) to fight against cheese coin farming.

Cheese coins received with letters are added to shop if they exceed the inventory limit (up to 200 per day).

The inventory limit was increased from 200 to 250 on 10 February 2022 (V1.686), and from 250 to 1,500 on 23 March 2023 (V1.751).

Fraise coin[]

Fraise coins, like cheese coins, can be "used" to earn shop fraise. However unlike cheese coins, they cannot be traded, they are only awarded in limited amounts through adventures as one time rewards and they are rare.

The inventory limit was increased from 80 to 250 on 12 January 2023 (V1.740), and from 250 to 1,500 on 23 March 2023 (V1.751).

Fraise fragment coin[]

Fraise fragment coins, also known as fraise fragments, could be earned by watching video advertisements in the shop. They can no longer be earned. Their image first showed up on the server in January 2017 and they were announced on 14 February 2017.[1]

Because 1 fraise could not be split up with decimals, fraise fragments were introduced, with 100 fragments making 1 fraise. For example, watching a video advertisement could earn you 120 fraise fragments, so you would earn 1 fraise in your shop, and have 20 fragments left in your inventory to use later.

Seashell coin[]

Seashell coins, also called seashells, cowrie shells or shells, are used to buy consumables from event NPCs. They can be obtained from events. Completing a daily quest gives 5 shells.

They were introduced partway through the St. Patrick's Day 2020 event to replace the cheese coin rewards sold by Cybus because hackers were abusing them.

The inventory limit was increased from 250 to 500 on 6 April 2023 (V1.753).

Golden ticket coin[]

Golden ticket coins, also known as gold tickets, golden tickets or adventure tickets, are earned from adventures as random rewards, and occasionally in larger quantities as one time reward. They can also be earned from completing daily quests.

They can be used in village rooms by trading with Indiana Mouse for event rewards and the Prof for cheese coins or a selection of random consumables that reset 4 times a day.

The inventory limit was 200, then 250. It was increased from 250 to 500 on 23 March 2023 (V1.751).

Red ticket coin[]

Red ticket coins, also known as red tickets, are earned from adventures by trading in golden tickets for them. They are used during events to purchase global event reward chests Consumable #2473.

Shaman coin[]

Shaman coins, also called feather coins, can be earned in any game mode that has a shaman, except survivor. You earn shaman coins based on how many mice you save and on what shaman mode you are using. At least 3 mice in non-custom rooms or 5 mice in custom rooms are required for saves to count.

Shaman coins can be traded to the Oracle for various rewards, Papaille for cheese coins, or Elise for random consumables 4 times a day.

Players receive 1 shaman coin per 4, 5, or 6 mice saved in divine, hard, or normal mode, respectively. Depending on the player's selected shaman mode, a certain amount of mice saved earns 1 coin. The variable amount of shaman coins is contingent on the mode's difficulty.

Mode Saves required per coin Limit per turn
Normal 6 3
Hard 5 4
Divine 4 5

Using the disable skills mode awards 50% more coins (e.g. saving 6 mice in normal mode gives 2 coins and saving 12 mice gives 3 coins).

Racing coin[]

Racing coins, also called flag coins, are earned in the racing game mode, with 1 coin being awarded for every 5 complete maps (doesn't matter if you come in first or last).

Racing coins can be traded to Buffy for various rewards, Papaille for cheese coins, or Elise for random consumables 4 times a day.

Survivor coin[]

Survivor coins, also called cannonball coins, are earned for killing mice as shaman in the survivor game mode, with 1 coin being earned for every 4 mice killed (excluding /mort and AFK mice). Coins are only awarded if the round lasted at least 30 seconds, the room is not protected by a password and there are at least 6 mice in the room.

Survivor coins can be traded to Von Drekkemaus for various rewards, Papaille for cheese coins, or Elise for random consumables 4 times a day.

Bootcamp coin[]

Bootcamp coins, also called military plaque coins,[2] are earned in the bootcamp game mode, with 1 coin earned every time you enter the hole. However, there is a 4 minute cooldown to earn another bootcamp coin.

Bootcamp coins can be traded to Cassidy for various rewards, Papaille for cheese coins, or Elise for random consumables 4 times a day.

Defilante coin[]

Defilante coins are earned in the defilante game mode, with 1 coin earned every 3 maps completed.

Defilante coins can be traded to Delphilante for various rewards or Papaille for cheese coins. Unlike other game mode coins, they cannot be traded to Elise for random consumables.
